What input do other stakeholders provide, and by when? Each relevant function — Legal, IT, Security, Data — gets a defined window to flag concerns. Two weeks is the standard that works. Within that window, they document requirements and raise blockers. After that window closes, the deployment owner decides.
What makes the AI production-ready? Specific, measurable criteria across security, compliance, data quality, business value, and operational readiness. When all criteria are satisfied, the deployment owner approves. This removes “ready” from the realm of opinion and puts it in the realm of evidence.
One organization. One initiative. One page that answers those three questions.
That page is the difference between nine weeks and fourteen months.
